Here is the reset button for the Automatic Power Window feature on the Nissan Pathfinder (and some other Nissans)
Does your window go all the way up, and then drop down about 4-6 inches when you are using the automatic feature on your pathfinder?
Here is how to fix it.
- Remove window switch bank by pulling directly up on section that runs from door opener to end on the arm rest. You can use some kind of prying device also, but be carefull not to damage your interior.
- Put the switch bank to the side, and locate the button in the door sheet metal shown in the image to the right, it is behind the vapor barrier, but can be used without cutting the vapor barrier.
- With the ignition in the ON position, hold down the button you just found, and lower the window all the way. (DO NOT USE THE AUTO FEATURE)
- Release the auto programing button, and close the window with the power window up button. Again, DO NOT USE THE AUTO feature yet!
- Test the auto feature now, It should be fixed! If it isn't, try the process again.
